HUMO LIGHTING COLLECTION
Barro has been used since pre-Hispanic times to create different objects. It is a material that comes into contact with the four elements to undergo transformation. This collection incorporates two types of finish:
This story focuses on the origin of matter and its transformation.
HUMO Mottled Finish
The gradients between blacks and terracottas on the barro’s surface are achieved through direct contact with fire, resulting in a distinctive finish for each piece. This variation involves a combination of barro with smoked glass and black anodized aluminum.
HUMO Natural Finish
The combination of all elements is immortalized in the heat of the fire, and on the surface, a subtle sheen is distinguished, bestowed by the prior burnishing before entering the kiln. The distinctive color of the barro is naturally preserved and harmoniously blends with transparent glass and aluminum.
