TERMS & CONDITIONS

This text outlines the general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “TERMS AND CONDITIONS”) that govern the use of the content, products, and services offered through the website https://bandidostudio.com/ (hereinafter “WEBSITE”), owned by Distrito Bandido. Any person wishing to access or utilize the site or the services it offers can do so by adhering to these TERMS AND CONDITIONS, as well as the policies and principles incorporated within this document. In all cases, any individual accepting these TERMS AND CONDITIONS must refrain from using the WEBSITE and/or acquiring the products and services offered.

PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS

  • All prices listed on the website are in the national currency, MXN. 
  • All prices listed on the website include Value Added Tax (VAT) and exclude shipping fees. 
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • The prices listed in the Mexican national currency include only simple packaging for deliveries within Mexico.
  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, deposit, check, and debit or credit card through external platforms. For more information, please email info@bandidostudio.com.
  • International purchases will be quoted in USD. 
  • For transactions involving currency conversion to MXN, the exchange rate will be considered from the Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF) in effect on the payment date.

QUOTES AND ORDERS

  • Every quotation has a validity period of 7 days. After this period, a request should be made to confirm the availability of the products. It is essential to complete the payment in full to proceed with the release of the shipment of the product.
  • Amounts exceeding $ 25,000.00 MXN splitted in a 70% advance payment and 30% final payment before delivery. For orders with a release time of less than 10 business days, 100% downpayment of the quotation must be done.
  • It is essential to send the payment receipt to our email address info@bandidostudio.com. The order will begin to be processed once the payment is received and confirmed by the customer, within the working hours of Distrito Bandido. If the payment receipt is not received, Distrito Bandido cannot guarantee delivery within the agreed timeframe. In the case of online purchases, a confirmation email will be sent with the estimated time for release.
  • The estimated release time for the order is detailed in the quotation and is subject to change without prior notice based on inventory turnover and the current production schedule. It is important to confirm the information before proceeding with the purchase. Each order will be released only when all products are ready, payment has been fully covered, and exclusively during Distrito Bandido’s working hours.
  • Delivery times for special projects are detailed in each quotation and are subject to change without prior notice once the quotation’s validity period has expired. When requesting advances in production times, it is important to note that Distrito Bandido does not assume responsibility for possible delays in this process.
  • Distrito Bandido can only guarantee order delivery once the down payment has been received.
  • The customer has a maximum period of 7 business days from the notification by Distrito Bandido to make the final payment and provide complete delivery details.If these requirements are not met within the established timeframe, additional charges for storage costs will apply. These charges will be calculated based on the volume of the products, the handling of the load, and the days accumulated from the initially agreed delivery date to the departure date from our warehouse.
  • Under no circumstances will the order be sent in two or more parts unless the customer has made payment for each shipment or Distrito Bandido has experienced a delay in processing the order.
  • Any request for a change in the order, once confirmed, will be subject to prior authorization from Distrito Bandido and may result in delays in processes, as well as additional costs.
  • Any order cancellation due to circumstances beyond the company’s control will incur a 25% charge of the product or service value for administrative process.

BILLING

  • To request an invoice, complete data must be provided and sent to the email at info@bandidostudio.com. Failure to request an invoice obligates Distrito Bandido to issue all income as “public in general.”

  • Invoices will be issued only within the month of the purchase and in national currency (MXN). After this period, they may be issued within the next month within 5 natural days, which also applies to invoice cancellations and corrections. Any invoice issued after the purchase month will be designated with the PPD method (Partial Payments).
  • Credit or debit card payments through third-party platforms will be processed once the payment is reflected in Distrito Bandido’s bank account.
  • Our billing hours are Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (UTC-6).

SALES AND AFTER-SALES

  • Distrito Bandido commits to providing the appropriate follow-up for each piece acquired to meet the customer’s requirements, within our internal capabilities. 
  • The after-sales service offers necessary support in case of anomalies with any of our products. For more information, please refer to the warranties section on our website. 
  • Distrito Bandido does not offer returns or product exchanges for reasons beyond the company’s control.
  • None of our products include installation. To learn more about our installation service, please see the services section.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES

  • Our domestic shipments are exclusively carried out through DHL. The shipping cost may vary depending on the number of items, weight, and delivery address.
  • Shipping costs may be subject to changes under certain circumstances. This includes expired quotations, outstanding invoices exceeding 30 natural days from their issuance, and pending orders for shipment exceeding 30 natural days of storage. In such cases, we reserve the right to adjust the shipping cost as deemed necessary to cover the additional expenses incurred.
  • If the customer is dissatisfied with the shipping cost, they may arrange their shipping. In such cases, Distrito Bandido will not be held responsible for the condition of the product upon arrival.
  • Personal deliveries at our facilities must be scheduled by appointment between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM (UTC-6) at the provided address. 
  • For express shipping requests, the total cost will be covered by the customer.
  • Furniture deliveries are made through the available courier service in the delivery area. The shipping cost is quoted for each request and may vary depending on the number of items, weight, and delivery address.
  • International shipments will be quoted based on the geographical location and the requested volume.
  • Shipments are made three times a week. Once you receive your tracking number, your order will arrive at the provided address within 2-5 business days in the central zone. For extended areas, delivery will take 5-10 business days.
  • During peak shipping seasons for courier services, delivery times may be extended. In such cases, Distrito Bandido will provide prior notice and is not responsible for these delays.
  • As soon as your product leaves our facilities, you will be notified via email with tracking information so you can monitor the shipment at all times. It is important to stay informed about your shipment in case of status changes or if additional information is required for delivery. 
  • Distrito Bandido is not responsible for any issues or situations that may occur during delivery or with the courier if not reported directly to us within 10 natural days from the shipping date. Reports can be made to our email at info@bandidostudio.com or by phone at 222 688 8442. 
  • Distrito Bandido is not responsible for failing to deliver on time and in good condition if the shipping information provided by the customer is incorrect, or if there is no one available to receive the delivery. In such cases, two delivery attempts will be made, and if both fail, you can pick up your package at the nearest branch to your address within 3 business days. Failure to do so will result in an additional charge for resending it for logistical reasons. Distrito Bandido cannot be held responsible for any material damage that may occur in this process. 
  • If the product cannot be released by Distrito Bandido on time, we will notify you of this delay. You may cancel your order or agree with us on an extended delivery timeframe.
  • Once the order has been shipped by Distrito Bandido, it cannot be canceled for reasons beyond the company’s control. 

SERVICES

  • The installation service for our luminaires includes professional installation according to the specifications and needs of the customer.
  • The installation service offered is exclusively intended for Bandido products. The company does not assume responsibility or commit to installing products that are not from the brand.
  • To request an installation service, the customer must contact the sales department to request a quotation. This quotation will be based on the quantity of luminaires that require installation and other specific customer requirements. By requesting the service, the customer accepts and understands that any modification to the scope of the agreed service may result in an adjustment to the total service cost.
  • The prices specified in the quotation do not include reconfigurations during or after installation.
  • The customer must cover the full payment specified in the quotation to guarantee the scheduling of the service.
  • Distrito Bandido will confirm the installation service once the basic requirements have been met:
    • Installation service form completed by the customer. ( This form can be requested from the customer service department).
    • Lighting fixtures delivered on the location through photographic evidence.
    • 100% downpayment of the installation service. 
    • Installation location. 
  • The scheduling of the service is subject to confirmation by Distrito Bandido.
  • Our service hours for installation are limited to Mondays and Fridays, between 10:00 and 17:00 hours (UTC-6), and are available only in the locations of Puebla and Mexico City. 
  • To guarantee the availability of the service, installation must be scheduled at least 1 week in advance.
  • Any changes to the service schedule must be informed to the customer service department at least 48 hours in advance. The customer may cancel the scheduled service at no additional charge if done with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellation within 48 hours prior to the scheduled service may be subject to additional charges.
  • The customer is responsible for obtaining the necessary permits for the installation and allowing access to Distrito Bandido installation services. Likewise, they must facilitate the use of service elevators and scaffolding, as necessary, to carry out the required tasks.
  • The customer is responsible for protecting the areas of the property where work maneuvers will take place, such as floors, walls, ceilings, windows, railings, furniture, decor, etc.
  • Any claims related to the installation must be reported directly to Distrito Bandido within 3 natural days from the conclusion of the installation.

WARRANTIES AND RETURNS

  • All our products come with a 12-month warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
  • For this warranty to be valid for any defects or damage, notice must be given within the first 10 natural days from when the courier has made the delivery to the indicated address. If a claim is not made within the established timeframe, along with the required photographic evidence, Distrito Bandido will not be responsible for repairs, exchanges, or returns.
  • Distrito Bandido will not process returns or exchanges of products due to reasons beyond the company’s control, such as the customer’s failure to adhere to the provided information. This includes technical specifications, installation instructions, maintenance and usage guidelines, as well as what is indicated in our terms and conditions, which can be found both on your product and on our website.
  • In the event that it is necessary to return the items to our facilities due to defects or damages, all transportation expenses will be fully covered by Distrito Bandido. We recommend that, for the return of any damaged product, the condition of the packaging be validated with us through photographic evidence. For more information, you can request the packaging manual.
  • For purchases made directly through our distributors, issues should be reported directly to them, providing all photographic evidence and detailing the defects.

QUALITY AND PRODUCTION 

  • Distrito Bandido is committed to delivering pieces to a high-quality standard, and all our products are handmade and assembled manually. It is important to consider that processes, finishes, textures, shapes, colors, and dimensions may have minimal variations, which will not be considered as defects.
  • The weights, dimensions, and materials of each product are specified in the technical specifications, as well as in the materials and maintenance section on our website.
  • All our luminaires and electrical components are exclusively for indoor use.
  • All our light fixtures include a lighting source (bulb).
