This story focuses on the origin of matter and its transformation.
The gradients between blacks and terracottas on the barro’s surface are achieved through direct contact with fire, resulting in a distinctive finish for each piece. This variation involves a combination of barro with smoked glass and black anodized aluminum.
The combination of all elements is immortalized in the heat of the fire, and on the surface, a subtle sheen is distinguished, bestowed by the prior burnishing before entering the kiln. The distinctive color of the barro is naturally preserved and harmoniously blends with transparent glass and aluminum.
